Experiencing a Health Revival

As with anything else, once your health is broken, it can be difficult to fix. And, as we all find out, there are few “microwave” cures to bringing our bodies back into their correct physiological alignment. Some of us are fortunate: we have complaints of easy fatigability, low energy, and the like. Comparably simple symptoms to deal with when considering the variety of extraneous complaints others have. If you’re hypertensive or diabetic, have a systemic or autoimmune disorder, or are obese, then misery can often be multiplied.

What discourages most of us from experiencing a revival in health is the refusal to let go of “the myth of the magic cure.” If you haven’t already figured this out, please believe that there is no such thing. Our bodies, the fine-tuned computers that they are, require diligent upkeep and maintenance. This is not a difficult practice, however it is a matter of making the right choices. We have been duped by the media and the Food Producers Association into believing that their offerings of food-healthy or not-are safe and practical ways of giving our bodies nutrition. The “food” has the approval of the government: surely they wouldn’t allow us to consume anything that is harmful?

What we need to understand is that our bodies are formed and fashioned with a basic cellular composition. What it requires to operate at full functioning capacity is the same: simple, easily digestible, easily metabolized fuel of basic cellular composition. Unfortunately, what we have been giving our bodies is genetically engineered, highly chemically processed non-foods. It’s no wonder there’s an increase across the board in the incidence of disease: we’ve made our bodies schizophrenic by feeding it things that it does not recognize, and things that alter our cell’s genetic structure (and also its function, as a result).

When the body malfunctions it is not just happenstance: the curse does not come causeless. Our bodies have only two basic requirements to operate at its most optimal level-proper fuel, and the right type and amount of body movement. It is never too late to bring our insides back into alignment. Time and process are the only necessities to a health revival.
